Ayurvedic Indian Head Massage

The Indian Head Massage (IHM) or shirobhyanga, is a Spiritual healing modality that has its roots in the science of Ayurveda. This Sacred spiritual massage is practiced with the client seated, and has a deeply relaxing and soul rejuvenating effects through work on the “marma” or pressure points and balancing the chakra system and the energetic field of the body.

The massage takes from 1 to 2 hours, some sessions might take up to 3 hours, depending on what needs to be healed in the present moment.
The massage covers upper back, arms, neck, and shoulders, scalp, face and the chest. It focuses on releasing tension in the body, as well as mental stress and holds a sacred space to allow for balancing the Heart energy and reconnecting with our authentic true self. As Dr. Gabor Mate says, authenticity heals.
Therapeutic touch which is a form of energy medicine is also incorporated in Ayurvedic sessions to maximize the healing potential of this Sacred Practice.
